Ingredients:
- 1 lb. skinless chicken breast
- 1 cup cornstarch
- ½ tsp. Baking powder
- 2 egg whites
- cold water
- extra cornstarch for dusting chicken
- ¾ cup clear honey
- 1½ tsp. sweet chili sauce
- Spring onion for garnish

Instructions:
- Cut the chicken into bite
sized pieces.
- Make a creamy batter of the
cornstarch, baking powder, beaten egg whites and cold water. Dust chicken pieces with
cornstarch, then dip into the batter. Deep-fry for about 1 minute until crisp on the
surface and cooked through.
- In another pan, melt the honey with
chili sauce. Pour over the chicken an serve immediately. Garnish with spring onion.
Make 4-6 servings. |
