Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb. fettucine or tagliatelle
  • 3 oz butter
  • 1½ cups freshly shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 1¼ cups cream
  • 3 Tbs. chopped fresh parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Add the pasta to a large pan of rapidly boiling water and cook until just tender. Drain well in a colander, and then return to the pan and keep warm.
  • While the pasta is cooking, heat the butter in a medium pan over low heat. Add the Parmesan cheese and the cream and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add the parsley, salt and pepper, and stir well to combine.
  • Add to the drained pasta in the pan and toss well to combine. Serve garnished with a fresh herb sprigs, if desire.

Make 4-6 servings.
